From July 22-24 "HOME" went on our first ever summer retreat. Unlike past years, this summer we had our own retreat instead of combining with other churches or going to a conference. I believe this was an opportunity given to us by God and part of His perfect plan. With me being new to "HOME" as well as having newer members, this retreat was a great chance for us to grow together while growing closer to God in an intimate environment. 

The theme of this retreat was "Fall in Love" Luke 10:27. The hope with this theme was to encourage our "HOME" to fall deeply in love with God and encounter His amazing love for us, which I believe we were able to do! We focused on scripture, worship, prayer and fellowship! The message was delivered by myself (Pastor Woojin) during every service and worship was led by our guest praise team from Journey Church of Atlanta. Each and every worship service was an opportunity for all of our "HOME" to take a step closer to God and to each other. 

We praise God for allowing one of our brothers to receive salvation during the retreat! We also had amazing moments of break through as a community, praying for one another and really running to God hand in hand. Other than worship service we had quiet times, games, fellowship, we picked vegetables at the farm and had amazing food (mostly donated by our amazing church members)! 

This retreat all in all was a huge stepping stone for our "HOME" and I believe is just a taste of what more God has in store for us and this younger generation. Thank you all for the support and prayers and joining along in the growth and nurturing of our next generation! We give all glory and honor to God!
